This procedure should only be done after doing the World Peace Meditation. It should not be done on its own.
Complete the World Peace technique and sit quietly with closed eyes. Think of a large body of water. If it is a river, focus on the flowing water. If it is an ocean, focus on the rising waves of the ocean. If it is a lake, you should not be able to see the other side of the lake. This is done during the time you usually sit quietly after the WPM is finished (the 10 minutes of silent sitting and visualization of space or a region, as per the usual instructions).
Breathe in and take your prana, your breath, to your anahata chakra, the fourth chakra. That is the seat of all positive emotion, all positive impulses. Hold it as long as you feel comfortable. If the holding of breath (kumbhaka) is too long, you will be forced to release your prana, and this technique will not be effective. The kumbhaka should be long enough for you to have this visualization. Holding your prana in your anahata (doing kumbhaka), think of a huge beam of white light rising from the water and moving towards space, opening up like a huge umbrella and raining. Those drops are not water, but your own positive light, spreading its rays on Earth. After doing this for 11 cycles, sit quietly and think of the rhythm of the World Peace mantra, as if you are able to hear it within you. Simply remember the rhythm without chanting.
In brief, one does 9 cycles of the mantra chanting, then 10 minutes for the original technique (Om Tat Sat Om). Then 15 minutes for 11 cycles of the new visualization, plus the feeling of the vibration of the mantra.
Regarding visualizing the flash points, the areas of global turbulence — practitioners say it either happens automatically during the falling of the drops from the umbrella (as part of the new visualization), or one does it consciously after that visualization, while feeling the vibration of the mantra.
This mantra is extremely powerful. When you do this technique, all your nadis open up and you will feel a tremendous sense of peace and tranquility. That is the proof that your whole system is open now to receive this force of Peace and Love and you become a transmitting channel of Peace on Earth.
Wherever you may be, in whichever country you may be, if you do this for 11 days, even if you are in a place where there is carpet bombing, you will not be harmed, nor will anyone be harmed where you are physically present. Wherever you are, you are protecting that environment around you.
