Veda (and yajna) is meant for the whole mankind, irrespective of gender, religious belief, cultural conditioning. Veda is beyond all these. Everyone can perform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Veda has not banned performing ritual by any women or girl. There are many Vedic seers, those who have discovered Veda mantras. They are called rishikas, or women seers, and they were performing yajnas. Now also in many houses in India, yajnas are performed by women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">On behalf of our Satyachetana International Spiritual Movement, I\u2019m giving this declaration to the whole mankind, that if any woman, any female, wants to learn to do yajna, to do sandhya, I welcome her, I welcome them, to come to our ashram and stay here and learn the procedure of performing yajna, performing sandhya, performing gou puja, and performing the worship of invoking all the gods of the Vedas. This is an open declaration I\u2019m giving to the whole mankind, irrespective of any religious belief or cultural conditioning. The Ratha Yatra (chariot) launched from Puri, Odisha, India, on 4th December 2017, and arrived at the Yajna venue at the&nbsp;end of January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Here is the final sharing about the Chaturveda Yajna:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><span class=\"s1\">The ten-day Chaturveda Yajna concluded with a massive oblation offered at the main sacred fire altar (kunda) by\u2014for the first time\u2014participants of all castes and colors. The energy generated during these ten days and culminating with this great gesture left many spellbound and speechless.<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><span class=\"s1\">It was not a common yajna. Despite unanticipated resistance, lack of manpower and resources, and other obstacles that appeared during the preceding six months of non-stop planning and execution, all the nearly 20,500 Veda mantras were chanted and oblations were offered into the four Veda kundas, while additional oblations were performed in the main center kunda, including for all 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita. Oblations were also conducted for the countries of the world in a sixth kunda. And the struggle faced in organizing such an event for the first time in thousands of years suddenly swept into a brilliant and extremely smooth finale of unification, equality, and purity. The crowds were less than anticipated, but the subtle peaceful energy and permeating feeling of victory for all were much greater, broader, deeper than can be put into words.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><span class=\"s2\">At times it seemed that perhaps this Chaturveda Yajna was not meant to be. That possibility raised its head several times during the planning months, but Swamiji guided the team to hold fast to the principles, purity, and transparency of Truth and to persevere. Success came at a price<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u2014as those integrally involved can attest\u2014but the monumental victory remains. It is a victory of all participants, including those spread around the globe praying for peace and upliftment, and those who graciously contributed financially without perhaps knowing the meaning or scope of the yajna. It is a victory of Light, of pure knowledge. And it is a victory for humankind. It is a confirmation of the universal aspiration to love, for love, as love.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><span class=\"s1\">May the great and wide force generated through this first Chaturveda Yajna of Kali Yuga expand further, O\u2019 Supreme!
