The principle objectives for which SCI was created are:

To manifest peace and prosperity for mankind through a spiritual transformation of earth consciousness.
To popularize meditation as a simple and effective way to expand the universal self of the individual.
To make the wisdom of enlightened masters of all religious faiths easily available to humankind through education, research and outreach programs.
To work for creating a better world by taking an active part in community welfare projects that spread universal Love, and work with other spiritually evolved human beings in those projects.
To assist individuals, groups and organizations working on a global scale in their effort to raise consciousness on the earth plane.
To promote global peace, prosperity, and harmony.
To collaborate in collective action, whether cultural, religious, economic, or political to achieve these objectives.
