Om Namo Bhagavate

Intervention For Global Peace
8-14 March 2025
“There is no problem for which Veda does not have a solution.”
~Swami Sri Atmananda
The current world situation is becoming more tumultuous day by day. It seems to be poised on the brink of war, whether it be a large-scale trade war or an escalation of areas that are already in upheaval. The whole world is not going to be destroyed but there is still the chance of great destruction – both manmade and natural.
To restore harmony, to help avoid or minimize the effect of nature-made destruction (tsunami, earthquake, flooding, cyclone, etc.) and prevent global nuclear war, an Atharva Veda Mahayajna will be performed at Dhenkanal, Odisha, India, from 8th– 14th March 2025. March 8 was chosen as the beginning date because it is the day observed by Satyachetana International as World Peace Day.
In order to be effective, yajna should be done through the offerings of the masses. This yajna is unique because, although it requires huge financial resources, the offerings are coming from ordinary, common men. The challenge to raise the funds is there, but due to the dedication and devotion of the villagers in the area and beyond, the money is being raised as per the limit guidelines given to the teams that solicit the funds. Spreading the donations among multitudes increases the effect.
Anyone who feels for the whole world, for the whole humanity may participate in the following ways.
During the days of the yajna, from the evening of 8 March until midday in India on 14 March, one may do the following:
Collect some water from a river, stream, canal, or ocean into a pot or jug or in the hands and offer it to the sun god three times, each time pouring the water from the container into the flowing water (river, stream, canal, ocean). If you do not have a natural water source, fill the pot with tap water and pour it on a tree or a plant in the garden three times while offering it to the sun god. Notice that you put water in the pot ONE time, and use a small amount of water each time, for the three times. (Refer to photos below.)
While pouring the water, chant the mantra: Om Sri Adityaaya Namaha
After pouring the water three times, pray to the sun god for peace on Earth, for restoring harmony and preventing a global war, as well as mitigating natural disasters. Make sure not to pray for any individual desire.

This can be done multiple times during the seven-day period at any time of the day. There should be a gap of at least three hours between each time that it is done.

The aspiration of even a dozen universal beings can have an effect and neutralize the evil intention of a million. If two or three hundred universal beings do this, it will make an impact.
