The Satyachetana Ashram at Gadamanitri, Odisha, India, was founded in January 2001 in Gadamanitir village, 40 km from the state capital of Bhubaneswar. The local devotees, disciples and admirers built it for Swami Sri Atmananda at the foot of Maa Ramachandi, a hilltop rock formation, which is worshipped as an abode of the Divine Mother. The Ashram’s current manifestation includes a yajna mandap (sacrificial altar), a puja and meditation room, kitchen, four bathrooms, six permanent residential rooms, and Swamiji’s quarters. The ashram is maintained by the Life Members of the Movement.
